Bea Millan-Windorski makes Metro cover debut

Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Bea Millan-Windorski reflects on her journey of self-discovery, the values that shape her, and her aspirations as she graces the latest digital cover of METRO.
In the cover story titled “The Musings of Filipina Muse Bea Millan-Windorski: The Weight of the Crown and the Gravity of Her Dreams,” the Filipino American beauty queen addressed questions on whether she was Filipino enough to represent the Philippines in the global pageant.
“We really can't choose who our parents are or who our bloodline is. But what we can choose to do is live what it is to be a Filipino and live the values every single day,” Bea said.
She also opened up about her insecurities over not looking like everyone else while growing up, always being the tallest in the class, and her lack of self-confidence. Now a beauty queen championing multiple advocacies, she has learned to embrace and appreciate her uniqueness.
Bea shared, “Throughout my Miss Universe Philippines journey, it's been more about coming to terms with how I look, realizing that I don't have to always default to trying to prove that I’m the smartest person in the room. Sometimes it’s about being not just maganda physically, but also maganda inside and out.”
